About the job:

  • The Instructional Designer (ID) is responsible for working with Project Managers (PM) to successfully develop training programs for customer service representatives globally across all business units.
  • Standard ISD processes, such as the ADDIE learning model, are used to design and develop custom business process and systems training programs including instructor-led and e-learning courses.
  • The ID is responsible for working with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Information Mapping tools to assess information, determine impacts and identify skills gaps.
  • The ID is also responsible for learning and testing proprietary systems and software to identify training needs, determine scope and create interactive learning tools.
  • 4-6 yrs experience required.

Additional details:

  • Experience is required in designing and developing courses to support complex business processes, extensive systems training, and soft skills training.
  • The ability to independently learn and perform complex, detailed processes is required.
  • Candidates must ensure there is balance between knowledge of processes and facts and the target audience's ability to demonstrate application of the skills in a real-world context.
  • Candidates must create learning solutions that successfully integrate the principles of adult Learning theory and leverage multiple delivery strategies (classroom, Web-based, virtual, etc.).
  • Ideal candidates must have strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • In addition, they are comfortable communicating critical success factors with the PM, SME, and other stakeholders to ensure on-time deliverables.
  • Home work environment needed including a pc/laptop with Windows operating system.
  • Candidates may be selected from a nationwide search and the contract may be 100% remote.
