The Ads Signals team is directly responsible for growing the quantity and quality of off-platform conversion signals while respecting privacy through technologies such as Reddit Pixel, Reddit Conversions API, SKAdNetwork, and etc. We provide advertisers the right tools via our Reddit Events Manager, Event Diagnostics, Event Testing, Reddit Pixel Helper, Event Setup, and etc.

We are looking for a software engineer interested in working with a diverse group of engineers and cross-functional partners across Reddit to scale our Ads business.

Responsibilities:

Work on Signals projects based on the team's priority in different problem spaces such as data ingestion, tooling, 3p integration, and etc.
Understand the need of our stakeholders and customers, collaborate with other team members to reach alignments on deliverables
Contribute towards various stages of SDLC (Software Development LifeCycle) either independently or following the guidance from other senior team members
Collaborate closely with cross functional partners and software engineers within as well as outside the team
Own your work from concept, design, implementation, and rollout, ensuring the highest quality and performance independently whenever possible, proactively seeking help as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative/CS major (e.g., mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, computer science). A Master's or PhD is a plus, but not required.
2+ years of full-time software engineering experience in a highly scalable computing environment.
Experience in fullstack or backend development
Prior experience in ad signals or measurement is a big plus

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is:
$130,000-$182,000 USD
