Software Engineer

Gong is seeking a highly motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our talented Dublin R&D group in building our next-generation product.

We are looking for either front-end (React) or backend (Java) expertise.

You will:

• Tackle hard technical problems?"some at the code level, some at the product level?"and come up with solutions, balancing practicality and innovation, short and long-term.
• Develop complex systems and services that run in production at scale
• Explore & learn new fields, APIs and cutting-edge technologies including AI and NLP.
• Be the owner of the features you develop, while collaborating with product and UX teams from thinking and wireframe processes to production.
• Be a part of a successful startup technology team that translates our vision into a solid SaaS product that performs, scales, and is easy to use.

You should apply if you are:

• A top-talent software engineer with +2 years of development experience building web applications
• Good familiarity with application development methodologies
• Experience with either front-end or back-end development
• Experience with React
• Experience with Java
• Experienced with large-scale, cloud-based web applications.
• Highly creative problem-solver who is not afraid of research
• Preferably have a degree in computer science or similar.
• Excellent communicator and team player, with verbal and written skills in English.
• Someone who enjoys having responsibility and experiencing ownership of the created product
• Most importantly, a person who enjoys working in a team with very strong peers.
• Availability for a hybrid role, 3 days in office, based in Dublin
• Eligible to work in the EU currently and in the future
