Senior Squad Lead Java Developer

Nurun is looking for a Sr. Squad Lead Java Developer. In collaboration with a strong and dynamic technical team, the ideal candidate will insure a constant leadership within the team and will be responsible for the technical priorities and best practices of his dedicated squad. This individual will also develop of the back-end of a large-scale website created for clients around the world

Your day-to-day involves:

• Making sure that the team is coding in a proactive optic while respecting standards and specifications, with a minimum of bugs and errors;
• Develop and write technological texts for system documentation and for bids and service proposals;
• Analyze and implement the functionalities;
• Participate in the programming development phases with others expertises;
• Offer the most appropriate technological solutions according to the client's needs;
• Participate in the architecture and / or analysis of the project;
• Playing a leadership role, proposing and implementing best practices;
• Acting as a mentor for colleagues who are less experienced and/or have difficulties;
• Sharing your knowledge with internal and external teams: technical processes, methodologies, and concepts;
• Working in collaboration with the project management team (designer, front-end, etc.) in order to insure the quality and the project delivery times and dates;

Conditions for success

• 5+ years of experience in Java development
• Knowledge of Spring MVC and Spring Data / Hibernate
• Knowledge of Freemarker (asset)
• Inspiring leadership and high communication skills
• Excellent priority management.
