Backend Developer Django

We are looking for a Backend Developer to help us develop our backend and integrations in particular. You will work with our small team consisting of developers, founders and a UX designer. We offer the opportunity to work full-stack by applying Python and Django.

Tasks

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and actual software and ensure fit of the solution with client/ValueWorks business need
• Developing end-to-end solutions from concept-development with internal or client stakeholders to MVP/final implementation

Requirements

• 5+ years software development experience using Python and Django / Django REST
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Comfortable working with mathematical formulas
• Experience in DevOps, ideally in Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS or Google Cloud
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with an innovative mindset
• Self-starter attitude, taking ownership and driving forward the topics to completion and customer success
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and to interact efficiently with others
• Full proficiency in German or English

Nice to have
Scipy/TensorFlow experience, Compiler/Interpreter experience
