Over $1T is spent every year on healthcare administration. Healthcare providers spend 2/3 of their time on average not with patients, but on administrative tasks. This is clearly broken and our mission is to help fix it.

Medallion is building modern healthcare infrastructure, starting with the exploding digital health market. Medallion helps top telehealth companies like Oak Street Health, Cityblock, Headspace, etc. automate admin tasks like medical licensing and payor enrollment. We have saved over 100,000 administrative hours for our customers!

As VP of Strategic Accounts you will lead and oversee Medallion's growth into net new key strategic accounts. You will be responsible for breaking into the most strategic deals and growing our book of business within payers and health systems especially. Over time the VP of Strategic Accounts will build out our strategic accounts team and oversee expansion into all net new strategic accounts.

We've raised $50M from some of the best investors like Sequoia Capital, Spark Capital, Optum Ventures, Elad Gil, Peter Reinhardt, and many others.

What you'll do

  • Create and execute on Medallion's roadmap for continued rapid growth into payers and health systems.
  • Lead expansion into net new key strategic accounts.
  • Partner closely with Medallion's CEO to drive the most strategic deals.
  • Manage key strategic sellers and grow team over time.
  • Partner closely with EPD, Marketing and Ops to drive success cross-functionally.

What you should have

  • 10+ years of total B2B SaaS sales experience or similar
  • 4+ years experience selling enterprise solutions to payers and/or health systems.
  • 5+ years managing teams including sales, account management, and sales operations.
  • Deep knowledge of payers and health systems is strongly valued. Experience selling into operations and contracting teams within them is an even greater plus.
  • Experience with complex enterprise sales motions: long deal cycles and many stakeholders.
  • Extremely strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior executives at the biggest and most established healthcare organizations.
