Overview:

Shapeways is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join our rapidly growing business as we scale our go-to-market strategies, commercial data, and reporting to meet organizational needs. In this role, you will gather requirements, manage the Salesforce ecosystem, support data integrations, and establish best practice standards across the organization. The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to become an expert in Shapeways' Salesforce processes and tech stack and work cross-functionally to support mission critical projects.

Why is the Salesforce Administrator important to us?

The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for driving success by bridging the gap between Shapeways' Salesforce system, and the users, on a day-to-day basis. This position will play a large role in understanding the current management of Salesforce, while identifying areas and leading initiatives for process improvement, and data integrity. This role will be a key contributor to shaping and developing the use of Salesforce across the organization to accelerate the processes and improve the experience throughout the entire customer journey.

The ideal candidate will have a strong business process and information technology background and must interact and support users from different departments and understand a range of applications (marketing services, sales, support, etc.). They must also thrive in a fast-paced environment and proactively identify opportunities for improvement of Salesforce and connected systems, requiring in-depth knowledge of internal sales, marketing, and business processes.

In this role, you will:

  • Administration and maintenance of CRM and support connected systems
  • Monitors end-user usage of the system and performs daily administrative tasks
  • Monitors data integrity of the information being entered into the CRM
  • Working with senior leadership to ensure key functionalities are understood
  • Gather feedback from teams utilizing Salesforce on a regular basis to constantly make improvements
  • Building custom reports, dashboards, and automation
  • Building, training, and maintaining properties
  • Maintaining control of access rights, security settings, and user privileges
  • Management of integrations with Salesforce running point on the implementation with technology colleagues
  • Evaluate and integrate newly released features and enhancements from seasonal Salesforce releases to implement best practices to maximize use
  • Ensures the integrity of our sales stages process and principles
  • Identifies and recommends process and system improvements to drive more revenue as related to order policy and quoting process
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement

You might be a good fit if (you have/are):

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, System Administration, or other field, or equivalent work experience required
  • 4+ years of experience related to Salesforce Management
  • Candidates must have Salesforce.com (SFDC) Admin Certification
  • Marketing automation (Marketo, Hubspot, Pardot, Marketing Cloud) experience is a plus
  • Deep knowledge of CRM systems architecture
  • Execute data imports/exports, conversions, and migrations, as needed by support requests or project activities
  • Request for Quote (RFQ/CPQ) experience is a plus
  • Hands-on success in troubleshooting complex platform issues, and experience with configuration, deployment, and expansion of Salesforce functionality by enabling new features
  • Consultative skill set (probing, objection resolution, vision)
  • Experience developing and implementing processes and procedures, managing SLAs and rules of engagement within Salesforce
  • Ability to balance sales daily maintenance of Salesforce while maintaining business integrity
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines, in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and provide an exceptional experience for internal users
  • Self-motivated and possesses a strong desire for process improvement
  • Comfortable working as part of a team
  • Experience working for a SaaS business or in the software industry preferred
