About The RoleAt Rippling, Sales Development is the driving force behind two main functions: pipeline creation and career development. We execute with a high level of urgency to partner with marketing and our sales partners to drive demand and create new business opportunities. Simultaneously we double down on the development of our people; creating career paths that allow reps to move through the SDR org and into more strategic roles that align with their future career aspirations.As an Outbound SDR Manager, the opportunity to own, design and build the function is at your fingertips. The majority of the org is a highly functioning Inbound team, so you have the support of a world class Marketing team that is excited to partner on ABM initiatives and overall funnel conversion rates.The overall strategy and execution of the Outbound engine is a top priority for the business. It will ultimately start with Enterprise, but as the function yields the anticipated success we expect- the segments and verticals we start to prioritize will continue to grow. The immediate impact will be felt in top of funnel metrics (s1's, s2's) and closely tracked as (logos and revenue start to close).We're bullish on the SDR function being the third pillar within the GTM function. An age old tale of whether SDR should report to Marketing or Sales allows for a new opportunity at Rippling. While the existing team is 99% Inbound, the immediate impact that can be made is building and scaling the Outbound function the right way from the ground up. Truly partnering with Marketing and Sales to increase lead conversions, ABM execution, and improving overall funnel conversion rates to drive more revenue should excite you!Not to mention the chance to develop your people, promote from within and lead an upper echelon organization.

What You Will Do

  • Top of funnel and SDR expert that can strategize and execute on business needs.
  • Able to spot trends in data in advance and pivot the strategy to overcome any potential threats to the health of the funnel.
  • Strong leader that owns a specific function and is able to translate the needs of the business throughout their org.
  • Motivates their managers to drive their teams towards success.
  • Heavily involved in hiring top talent for the SDR and SDR Leadership teams.
  • Displaying cross functional empathy and able to deliver high level and tactical feedback across the orgs.
  • Consistently drive the business to achieve and exceed revenue targets
What You Will Need
  • 2-3 years in an SDR Organization
    • 1+ years in SDR Leadership
  • Proficiency in SDR Tech Stack
    • Salesforce
    • Outreach, Salesloft, Mixmax, etc
    • LI Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, Lusha, LeadIQ, SalesIntel, etc
    • Gong/Chorus, Guru/Highspot
  • Experience in Enterprise SaaS with multi product selling distribution
  • Experience building an Outbound program or executing an OB strategy that involves multichannel approaches tracked heavily by input/output metrics
  • Excellent abilities to manage at the ground level while also able to zoom out and define and execute on broader business initiatives.
  • Ability to hire, onboard, ramp and train remotely working multiple timezones
  • A deep understanding of scaling orgs in fast paced environments
  • Expertise in change management

The salary for US-based employees will be aligned with one of the ranges below based on location; see which tier applies to your location here.All Tiers: $98,000 - 108,400 baseA variety of factors are considered when determining someone's compensation - including a candidate's professional background, experience, and location.
