Position Overview:

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in leading our named account team during an exciting period of growth and innovation. Reporting to a Sr. Sales Manager, you will be responsible for all sales activities within your assigned territory/account list. This includes prospect identification, lead generation, sales calls, managing the sales cycle, proposal development, business case creation, and contract negotiation leading to deal closure. Your strategic impact will be crucial in enabling our key customers to realize the value and return on investment (ROI) of Apollo's platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Develop and implement the long-term strategy for accounts/territory, aligning it with customer business objectives
  • Cultivate relationships with key customer stakeholders, driving customer growth and satisfaction at assigned accounts
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams across Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Legal at Apollo to meet customer business needs
  • Perform account planning at assigned accounts, driving growth through a focus on ROI and ensuring strategic alignment
  • Become an expert on Apollo's product, conducting discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations for prospective customers
  • Effectively communicate the value of Apollo's platform to key stakeholders within the account while navigating a complex sales cycle across various lines of business, including multiple stakeholders in sales, marketing, and revenue/sales operations
  • Utilize the MEDDPICC sales methodology to strategically prepare for calls, advance prospects in the sales process, and accurately forecast revenue
  • Demonstrate strong accountability for maintaining updated pipeline information and utilizing systems (SFDC, etc.)

Requirements:

  • 5-8+ years of sales experience in Mid-Market/Enterprise (500 - 2500 employee count), with a focus on SaaS markets selling B2B
  • Proven experience carrying a $1M+ annual quota
  • Demonstrated track record of success, consistently ranking in the top 10% of the sales organization
  • Previous experience selling software and/or security-related products
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish quick rapport with prospects
