Remote job description

Meter provides internet infrastructure for businesses. We build enterprise-grade networks that are faster, more accessible, and more secure. Our full-stack approach combines hardware, software, and operations so that any company can easily set up and run a modern network. Meter's mission is to make businesses more productive and secure through providing best-in-class internet infrastructure. Our long-term ambition is to evolve Meter's infrastructure into a turnkey utility.

About the role

We have ambitious growth goals this year as we deploy Meter's infrastructure across tens of millions of square feet. To drive this growth, we are hiring our Sales Team's first Channel Manager. The Channel Manager will be responsible for accelerating Meter's growth by building, executing and owning the partner ecosystem strategy that will be used to scale Meter's sales through partners in North America. We are looking for people who are excited to work on complex problems, love building, enjoy learning and working with others, and above all, are kind and ambitious. We are building for the long term and just getting started. We'd love your help.

You will have an impact by

  • Scaling the sales of Meter's network-as-a-service product through partners in North America
  • Creating a partner business plan that enables Meter to scale effectively through MSP, MSSP, and agency organizations
  • Developing an enablement strategy to attract, develop and grow relationships with various distributors, resellers, or agents
  • Growing a preference for selling Meter's products within partners' portfolios and sales teams
  • Driving sales results and pipeline development within key partners
  • Building, owning and scaling a partner enablement program
  • Optimizing and leveraging the partnership between sales, marketing, operations, and customer success throughout the deal process

You might be a good fit if you

  • Are excited by and can demonstrate your fit with Meter's cultural pillars of Kindness & Ambition
  • Are inspired by Meter's vision of building a modern utility for better internet infrastructure and are energized by the problems to solve along the way
  • Have a track record of successfully developing, retaining and owning strategic partner relationships
  • Have experience structuring and negotiating partnership agreements and developing Partner Training and Enablement programs and certifications
  • Have experience developing detailed operational plans including engagement models, sales targets, and GTM strategies
  • Have 3+ years of experience in full-cycle, quota-carrying sales roles (i.e., from prospecting your own leads to closing deals), selling a technically complex product to technical buyers
  • Are adept at using sales tools (e.g., Salesforce Outreach, PRM tools and other learning management platforms)
  • Possess excellent communication and cross functional collaboration skills
  • Can effectively navigate and have been successful in highly ambiguous and fast-changing environments
