What you will be doing

The Account Management team leverages our industry expertise and product knowledge to help our clients build, launch and scale amazing applications for small businesses. Account management is responsible for ensuring our clients achieve their business goals by aligning mutually beneficial outcomes. As an Account Manager you will contribute to the growth and scale of Codat by building deep relationships with executives, operations and product teams within your portfolio of clients and be a primary driver for the internal advancement of client requirements.

Ideal candidates will have the ability to develop a deep understanding of clients' priorities, motives and key drivers, and have demonstrated success in owning and growing strong, long-lasting client relationships.

The Account Manager is the primary point of contact for our clients and works with them through all stages of implementation, product launch, scaling, product expansion, and relationship management. You will work directly with key stakeholders ranging from developers to executives to help them create the next generation of FinTech products and services for small businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall relationship with assigned portfolio of clients, identifying and partnering with key stakeholders to ensure mutual alignment of business priorities
  • Be a strategic advisor and provide consultative guidance based on clients' business needs, providing best practices to help clients build and scale their business on Codat
  • Ownership of timely launch, usage and expansion through collaboration with internal teams, including helping clients develop and deliver effective go-to-market plans
  • Lead key initiatives that deepen the partnership including quarterly reviews, weekly checkpoints and escalations, while effectively coordinating cross functional teams.
  • Serve as the voice of the client and collect feedback to drive continuous improvements across all areas of the product
  • Work closely with our commercial team to identify and enable new opportunities and ensure seamless renewal process
  • Act as the clients champion, developing a detailed understanding of our product and new features to present to our clients, to ensure they continue achieve the greatest possible value from Codat's technology

What excites us

  • Experience in account management or relationship-based role preferably at a market leading technology or financial services firm
  • Ability to understand growth opportunities by listening and asking questions
  • Experience managing client relationships independently and executing technical strategies to make clients successful with new technologies, with the ability to overcome objections and build rapport with difficult clients
  • Excellent project management and communication skills with a strong ability to deliver technical concepts to both business and technical audiences, simplifying complexities in a concise / clear manner
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and possess strong troubleshooting skills with an ability to use deductive and inductive reasoning to guide clients through complex or escalated issues
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functionally with different teams, levels of seniority, and influence to deliver results, sensitive to competing priorities
  • Ability to work under pressure, deadlines and navigate unexpected roadblocks with a client-first attitude and a strong sense of empathy
  • Familiarity with fintechs, SaaS, APIs, technical concepts or experience in Codat's key markets of lending, payments or commerce is beneficial
