We are looking for a Territory Manager of the Partner Sales team that can lead a team of 6-8 Account Executives that will qualify and convert interested clients into long-lasting partners. You are a highly motivated and trusted leader who is dedicated to coaching the team on a consultative approach. You are committed to improving team productivity and effectiveness by building the skills and capabilities of the team members. If you have a track record of managing and converting high impact, strategic sales teams within a fast-paced environment, then this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Account Executives and Business Development Representatives within a fast paced startup environment
  • Execute monthly business plans for the team to meet or exceed key targets, goals and/or strategic objectives
  • Provide the necessary support to the sales team to enable them to generate market leads and close new business
  • Effectively handle internal working relationships, teams productivity and morale
  • Continuously improve collaboration with other internal functions across Global Revenue and Bird
  • Establishes and reports on metrics to measure team performance; correct deficiencies where necessary
  • Identify both struggling and successful sales initiatives and explore ways to improve on our sales metrics
  • Develop, execute and manage new creative partnership initiatives
  • Recruits, hires and trains staff members; fosters a successful and positive team environment

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of leading a high impact, full cycle sales team
  • Experience within a B2B, consultative, and/or enterprise sales role is a plus
  • Notable interpersonal skills with a positive demeanor and ability to provide both positive and negative feedback effectively
  • Willingness to "roll up the sleeves" and sell
  • Strong project management skills, including multiple projects at a time, prioritize effectively and meet deadlines
  • Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Consistent track record of hitting and exceeding sales goals
  • Appetite for innovative technology, fast changing business environment, fast decision making
  • Proficient in Salesforce
  • BA/BS Degree
