The Product Sales team at Stripe works to help businesses of all sizes take advantage of products like Issuing, Treasury, Billing, and Terminal. Within Product Sales is an Incubation team that supports our newest products - leading the phase from early sales to scaled GTM strategy and execution. As a manager for the Product Sales team, you'll lead and coach the high-performing team of sales and GTM professionals while helping them deliver on ambitious targets. In addition, you'll work cross-functionally to build go-to-market plans for new products and roll up your sleeves to work directly with prospective Stripe customers.

We are looking for a self-starter who has demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity, operating in a high-growth environment, and solving complicated problems with limited oversight. Ideal candidates will have management and leadership experience bringing a new product to market, experience scaling a technology sales team, excellent communication skills, and a knack for understanding customer needs.

You will:

  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of strategic Account Executives
  • Work with senior leadership to develop the long-term vision and strategy for the team, and manage day-to-day operations with a focus on performance against key sales and growth metrics
  • Be accountable for increasing revenue and driving product attach
  • Create go-to-market plans alongside product, marketing, sales, and finance stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally across the organization to help shape Stripe's products and solutions to meet customer needs
  • Coach, mentor, and guide the team in developing consultative and solution-based sales skills
  • Inspire, motivate, and enable individual development to promote career growth of direct reports

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience with 5+ years of people management experience
  • Experience leading sales, new business, and operations in an early stage, high-growth technology environment
  • Proven track record of high performance in a new business sales or existing customer upselling role
  • Ability to hire, train, and coach a high-performance sales team
  • Ability to build relationships with strategic clients and industry thought leaders
  • Ability to bring new products to market Demonstrated passion for Stripe's mission
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and build strong relationships with highly technical customers
