The Team

Untapped is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our growing team! Our team is composed of people from all walks of life, with over half of us from historically underrepresented backgrounds. We're a passionate team of learners and doers with a bias for action. We encourage each other to exercise our individual "why" in service to our mission.

As a Sales Development Representative, you will report directly to our co-CEO/Head of Revenue and work closely with members of the Revenue team and cross-functional partners to help beat our revenue goals. The team is still small, so you will have the opportunity to work closely with leaders and play an important role in defining our Sales culture.

What You'll Do

  • Be a driving force in the success of Untapped by consistently generating sales pipeline and achieving individual goals.
  • Responsible for prospecting within a named account list, including cold calling, emailing and other sales activity.
  • Qualify leads through our sales process and methodology.
  • Follow up on inbound marketing leads, as well as make outbound emails/calls and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects.
  • Diligently update Salesforce, ensuring our CRM system stays up-to-date.
  • Serve as the first point of contact along the customer journey.
  • Report KPI's to sales leadership on numbers including outreach, connects, meetings scheduled, etc.
  • Present our value prop in a clear and concise manner.
  • Network with the world's leading companies.

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B technology (HR, Recruiting, Benefits, and Consulting are all great starting points!)
  • Experience working at (and loving!) an early stage startup; or similar experience in a high-velocity, agile environment.
  • Problem-solver with a "startup" mindset where no task is too big or too small
  • Experience with territory development and prospecting.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills, and experience drafting clear communications that demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Sales tools, including Salesforce, Outreach and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • A sincere passion for our product and our mission!

Salary: $50,000 - $72,000

Note: Where you land in that range is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Untapped provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Eligible positions may be eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan.
