Software Engineering Manager Financial Access Abstractions

As the manager of our Financial Access Abstractions team, you will manage a team of 6 engineers while building out long term functional and technical strategies. You will work with a variety of other engineering teams and functions as stakeholders - other engineering teams in Financial access, engineering teams in our Internal Platform group, Financial Institutions, Support - and deliver against short term and long term needs.

Our mission is to build the libraries, framework, tools, and platform-level functionality needed for Plaid product teams to be able to develop new products and operationalize existing ones. We build tools and improve Plaid's Financial Access framework to more quickly build API integrations, catch data quality issues, and react to issues with financial institutions. We also expose low level Financial Access capabilities to upstream stakeholders on product teams. Our tooling enables developers to build new product functionality into our bank integrations more effectively. Our team is the connective tissue between over 10+ teams at Plaid, and is one of the most involved teams in company-level engineering efforts to re-architect our engineering foundations.
