About the Role

We are seeking a senior product manager who will own driving impact with our entire incentive portfolio as well as define our long term strategy for Intelligence to deliver the right content to the right user at the right time.

You will work in collaboration with engineering, machine learning, data science, and cross functional teams across the company, to deliver solutions that allow us to improve efficiency, building new capabilities to hit strategic goals and push the boundaries of Machine Learning to drive customer value.

About the Team

The Growth Systems team owns the set of systems that power our Marketing engine and customer experiences both in the Instacart app and across our marketing channels (TV, Social, Search, Email). Our teams own the E2E systems from our back-end platforms, data and machine learning to our tooling and all the way to the customer experience.

We are a passionate team of 100+ engineers, data scientists, designers, marketers and product managers focused on driving growth for Instacart. We operate as a high-trust team where we spend time and energy ensuring everyone is clear on the "why", where we believe the #1 way to grow is to deliver high quality products and where we "do less but obsess".

About the Job

  • Manage the suite of incentives (existing and prospective) that drive growth for the business.
  • Drive forward strategy on all aspects of the stack from intelligently targeting the right incentive to the right customer to helping shape the right user experience for those incentives.
  • Lead product planning, product & customer discovery, the product development process, effort estimation, and collaboration with teams across the organization (i.e. Engineering and Design).
  • Identify opportunities via qualitative & quantitative research, case studies, and reviews of industry-standard methodologies.
  • Intake & validate new ideas through a set of frameworks and drive them into implementable projects.
  • Serve as the point person for your product area to leadership and across the organization.
  • Promote best design practices and user experiences while creating a scalable & easy-to-use product that connects with its users.
  • Publish company-wide updates. Ensure that requirements, release notes, and other artifacts are documented.

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience
  • Experience managing a consumer-facing software product
  • Strong Analytical and Communication skills including the ability to define and unpack multiple inter-related metrics, and clearly communicate the outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong experiences presenting to large groups & influencing people to run towards goals
  • Strong ability to manage and align multiple stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience driving results with machine learning partners
  • Experience in influencing and building out multi year strategy
