How you will make an impact:

Our customers send millions of transactional and marketing messages per year, and at that scale it can be hard to tell what's working well, what isn't, and when something goes wrong. As a leader of the Execute team, you'll lead a team of designers to understand how our customers qualify the success of those campaigns, and work to provide them with the relevant metrics, dashboards, experiments, and AI-enabled insights to replicate and improve upon past successes.

As a leader of the Platform team, you'll also lead a team of designers to deliver intuitive administrative and developer experiences. These enable enterprise customers to efficiently onboard their teams, and integrate with other software in their MarTech stack to pass through data and optimize delivery of high send volumes.

You'll get to:

• Establish and uphold clear standards of consumer quality, enabling your team to deliver world-class user experiences
• Manage routine design delivery for product and feature development, considering capacity, efficiency, and a high standard of quality
• Develop a deep expertise within your portfolio area. Establish a design vision and strategy to drive direction and alignment with both your reports and product counterparts
• Provide growth opportunities for your reports, coaching and challenging them to design at their greatest potential
• Collaborate with peers to up-level process and operations for our UX functions, including product design, user research, and copywriting

We are looking for people who have:

• Prior experience managing a team of four or more product designers.
• Experience interacting with product management and a variety of other key stakeholders during a product discovery, design and development process at a SaaS company.
• An understanding of product strategy and execution challenges, and a deep interest in changing the status quo.
• Passion for learning, self-improvement, and team improvement while creating an unmatched user experience.
• A focus on building a culture that elevates the team's performance and morale.
• The ability to leverage a strong user research background and product leadership experience to guide the team towards a cohesive, user-centric quality standard.

• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
• Experience with email, push or SMS software
• Strong information design and data visualization sensibilities
• Exposure to designing for data science and machine learning projects
• Experience working with an enterprise B2B SaaS company, designing and building tools that help people be better at their jobs

As such, we've moved to a single geographical compensation band for all of our employees (the San Francisco Bay Area market for the US, London for the UK).

For Colorado-based employment: The minimum salary for this position is $191,100/year. The compensation package includes equity, plus a range of medical, dental, vision, financial and other benefits. Additionally, perks such as daily paid lunches and generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others, are included.
