Product Manager Internal Platform

Who We Are

The Internal Platform at Plaid enable's our business to scale and accelerates product development by allowing our engineering teams to focus on building the future of financial services. It's a deeply technical team responsible for the foundational building blocks that reduce the burden of infrastructure ownership at Plaid, including cloud services, developer tooling, data and machine learning platforms, domain abstractions, and common components across all product lines.

The Challenge

We are looking for experienced Product Managers that will partner with engineering to build product roadmaps and specs for the infrastructure platform that powers Plaid. Your mission is to simplify and accelerate product development for all Plaids, by deeply understanding our internal customers and prioritizing the most important problems to solve. Product Management for Internal Platform is a brand new function and team, which means you'll get to help shape our product culture and practices. • A deep understanding of platforms and creating building blocks for developers
• Experience in successfully building and shipping technical products or platforms
• Demonstrable understanding of infrastructure technologies at scale
• Expertise in either cloud infrastructure, developer tooling, and/or data/ML platforms
• Strong empathy for customers -- both businesses and end-users
• Ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• An ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations involving complex tradeoffs
• Comfort applying a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to measure success
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
