As the Head of Product Growth & Analytics, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of Amplitude's core and new products. You will work in a dynamic environment, design and instrument experiments that measure the impact of business decisions surrounding the customer journey and go-to-market motion. The role will challenge you to make strategic recommendations to executives based on actionable insights derived from product and CRM data. You will work closely with leaders within Product Management, RevOps, Marketing, and Sales.

As a Head of Product Growth and Analytics, you will:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis to create actionable insights around customer journey patterns, product campaign performance, product usage, behavior trends and user segmentation, which will inform go-to-market strategy and execution
  • Identify opportunities through analysis and unlock new opportunities for product-led growth in our customer journey (e.g. discovery, trial, purchase, upgrade)
  • Effectively form and communicate recommendations based on analysis to company leadership
  • Develop & refine metrics definitions, data collection and analysis of critical product behavior metrics alongside Product and Growth teams
  • Operationalize access to data, dashboards and key insights and empower teams to self-serve the data and dashboards they need
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams in Product Development, Revenue Operations, and Business Systems to understand data infrastructure and how data can be extracted and used

You'll be a great addition to the team if:

  • 6+ years experience with a mix of strategy & analytics in a technology company or consulting firm with strong exposure to SaaS
  • 2+ years of product/growth/marketing analytics experience
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners to build the business
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and visualization (Tableau, Einstein, etc.) to solve complex business problems
  • Strong domain knowledge of the end-to-end user funnel, including demonstrated ability to partner with Product leaders to form questions and design supporting analysis
  • Demonstrated experience with scoping and executing cross-functional projects
  • Resourcefulness, persistence, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
