Genesis10 is seeking a Business Analyst I (Non-IT) for a leading financial services company in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 6-month contract role with the potential to convert to perm following the contract for the right candidate. This will be a hybrid role with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

Job Description:

At this level, initial assignments are designed to expand practical experience in applying systems analysis techniques and procedures. This Analyst provides several phases of the required systems analysis where the nature of the system is predetermined, uses established fact-finding approaches, knowledge of pertinent work processes and procedures, and familiarity with related computer programming practices, system software, and computer equipment.

Job Duties:

This role will be based in the Global Business Support Operations Team which facilitates change within business applications and serves as technical liaisons for teams

The BA I will work with day-to-day operations to help define requirements, create process maps, and create processes to enhance applications

This candidate will be expected to work with a group to perform business analysis, process mapping, and potentially some UAT/testing on backend of process

Will support in helping team roll changes out to include trainings, updates, policies and procedures, etc.

The BA I will work as part of a team and have guidance and leadership, Project Management guidance within team, etc.

This person will be upskilled along the way but they should be able to hit the ground running with analytic mindset and basic competencies for a BA I role

Business Analysis work will be on business side but IT BA's have been successful within this group as well

Requirements:

Prior Business Analyst/Analysis skills would be great

MS Office - Excel, Word, to a lesser extent, MS Project

Bachelor's degree is preferred (any certifications a plus-BCS, Green Belt, etc.)

Jira would be highly desired

Confluence would be good to have

Prior testing experience good to have

Prior experience working with Operations Delivery would be good to have

Good attention to detail

Great communication skills

Adaptable to changing requirements

Finance preferred but not necessary-can be trained. Analytical skills most important.

Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10(no corp to corp)
