As Vanta's leader of Partnership Operations, you will drive execution of Vanta's partnership strategy by partnering with Vanta's VP of Partnerships, GTM Operations leaders, and other functional leaders, to create strategic plans, enhanced visibility, and scalable tools and business processes to fuel Vanta's hyper-growth via our various partnership initiatives.

GTM operations is a really important discipline for a fast-growing SaaS business, and we're looking for an experienced operations leader to join us as Head of Partnership Operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the operational excellence of our Partnerships function by working with the VP of Partnerships to bring Vanta's partner strategy to life through planning, visibility and reporting, and operational processes that connect partnership initiatives to business outcomes, including with and through other departments at Vanta.

This role will deliver timely and accurate visibility and business insights, drive strategic decisions, enable strategic project / program management, and own core partner operations and annual planning processes. This is a highly-visible job with the potential for immediate and tangible impact, and the right candidate must have the ability to influence and build support across all of Vanta's teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, Legal, Finance and GTM Operations. This person will partner with the VP of Partnerships to execute Vanta's partnership strategy to achieve business goals, while establishing a structured and disciplined management framework, holding all cross-functional leaders accountable for their ongoing inputs, and delivering material business outcomes. They will own internal business reviews, the overall assessment of business performance through partnerships, and help establish the process for business reviews with key partners.

What you'll do:
  • Partner with the VP of Partnerships to take Vanta's partnership strategy and translate it into operational and hiring plans
  • Own the end to end planning and goaling process for the Partnerships team across all functional areas and initiatives (Startups, Auditor Relations, Services Partnerships and Technology Integrations)
  • Enable visibility into partnership operations at multiple levels, and assemble appropriate analysis and reporting to optimize the success of partnership initiatives
  • Create a plan for the infrastructure to fuel the partners team via Salesforce, CPQ, and other GTM systems
  • Collaborate on the design, development, maintenance, and delivery/presentation of forecasting models, headcount management, metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business decisions
  • Establish and manage the operational cadence including pipeline reviews, forecast reviews, monthly and quarterly business reviews, and annual planning cycles
  • Work with the Partnerships team and GTM Enablement to develop training programs for both partners (as needed) and the Partnerships team to enable their success
  • Plan for and develop operational processes that bring partnership initiatives to life through other teams at Vanta (e.g., enabling Sales and CX to sell partnership-driven products)
How to be successful in this role:
  • 3+ years of experience managing high performing teams
  • 8+ years of design and implementation experience across Salesforce.com and knowledge of Partner Platforms
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative modeling skills; history of delivering measurable results, using data
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to interact with and influence all levels from ICs to executives
  • Ability to establish working relationships with personnel at all levels in the organization
  • Excellent at articulating vision and planning execution of projects
  • Great business facing skills, understanding of marketing, sales and customer success business needs that drive system requirements

About Vanta
We started Vanta in 2016 as Equifax had lost every American's social security number, Home Depot had leaked its customers' credit card numbers to hackers, and Facebook admitted that it irresponsibly sent user data to third parties who tried to influence the US election.
