Position Overview

The Arena Group seeks a Video/Producer/Editor who can take the lead on developing, producing, writing, editing and programming compelling daily video content to be shared on The Arena Group platforms. This position will work closely with the Executive Producers, Coordinating Producers, Editorial, Social, Sales, Marketing and other teams to ensure a smooth, consistent high-quality stream of video output. You will also be asked to help sports betting strategy content and occasionally could be used as an on-air host. The prefered candidate should also be able to shoot, edit and produce in the field on features and tentpole events.

The position is part of the collective bargaining unit represented by the New York NewsGuild. The salary range for this position is $95,000-$104,999.

To be successful in this role, you must function efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced professional environment and be able to handle multiple tasks throughout the day. You will independently manage multiple tasks and projects on deadlines. Must be willing to work nights and weekends with occasional travel being required.

Responsibilities

• Lead team of producers on daily franchises
• Develop, produce, write, edit and program daily franchises on SI Media Group sites.
• Create and lead sponsored premium feature series from beginning to publish. Work with Sales in the ideation process until final deliverables.
• Develop new franchises and strategies in the sports betting and fantasy space.
• Develop new formats and concepts for social media only audience specifically for TikTok and YouTube.
• Lead and coordinate major tentpole and anchor events in the field
• Occasionally host on-air for video segments.
• Create graphic packages and sizzle reels for marketing.
• Maintain an efficient and effective workflow process
• Assist in the management of post production assets
• Support with the management of schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Minimum three years professional editing experience
• Portfolio with samples of your work
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premier Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Experience with Mac OS
• Keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high quality and integrity in the
• work
• Strong sense of rhythm in both storytelling/editorial and sound/music
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to edit a large volume of content under deadline pressure
• Willingness to explore creative solutions to problems
• Positive and professional attitude
• High level of energy, passion and dedication
• Knowledge and enthusiasm for finance a plus
