We are seeking a Pet Loving Senior Managing Content Writer to join our Blue Buffalo Creative team and report to the Digital Associate Creative Director. This role can be onsite, hybrid, or remote. In this role, you will use your passion for inspiring storytelling to communicate the Blue Buffalo brand narrative by writing unique copy that engages Pet Parents across digital touchpoints. You will craft messages to build trust between the Blue Buffalo brand and Pet Parents while driving awareness, conversion and loyalty to BLUE. Your understanding of Pet Parents and experience with digital channels will be critical to ensuring that our communications are poised to make an impact across all the moments that matter. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Be a brand storyteller, develop content to be delivered across channels to motivate, inspire, educate, and inform our Pet Parents . Understand the Blue Buffalo brand narrative, experience strategies and touchpoints to inform and develop relevant messaging and copy that meets campaign and channel objectives. Guide and manage other content writer(s) as they create organic content for social media, emails, articles, and in-app experiences. Participate in strategic campaign and content planning sessions to understand content/copy needs, reviewing campaign and creative briefs and execute on requests for new copy and/or adaptations. Collaborate with Pet Parent Engagement teams to understand campaign messaging and channel goals; write clear and compelling copy that reflects the Blue Buffalo brand voice and drives Pet Parent desired behaviors. Works closely with the Performance & Optimization team to understand performance of campaigns and content in market and apply learnings to future copy iterations.Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in a creative role, within a creative agency, or in-house creative studio environment 2-3 years of management experience Ability to immerse yourself in a brand's voice and apply to all copy and content. Deep understanding of the relationship between text and visual elements. Must be able to collaborate with designers. Ability to research topics with a journalistic eye for detail and accuracy, and synthesize complex information. Strong copyediting and proofreading skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills Proactive, positive attitude is a must. Ability to maintain and archive your own files. Adaptability to changing priorities Ability to handle multiple projects with accuracy and attention to detail. Comfortable with agile ways of working App experience is a plus Pet parent preferred. PREFERRED SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE: Experience in CPG or related industry, a plus EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:BA in Marketing, English, Communications, or Journalism preferred
