data.ai is seeking a creative content strategist and storyteller leader who can develop a unique and compelling brand voice & content that will engage our various audiences, digitally and socially. The person in this role drives the content strategy for the company and will collaborate with all the core functions of Marketing including Product Marketing, Market Insights, Demand Gen, Web/Digital, Creative, Customer Marketing, and Field Marketing to create and manage a rich Editorial Calendar and specific content assets and content strategy across the marketing mix.

You will be responsible for and take pride in...
  • Lead a team of content experts (Copywriters, Content Writers, and Insights Managers) in defining, driving, and executing the brand voice for data.ai
  • Direct content functions in building and planning an assortment of content including but not exclusive to the Blog, collateral, thought leadership, events, social, etc.
  • Own and drive a strategic Editorial Calendar and content maps that allow for transparency and predictability of the development and promotion of content assets across channels
  • Determine how will our content stand out, tell our unique story, and be ultimately engaging across audiences
  • Drive content strategy and planning which is mindful of audience insights, personas, messaging, competitive information, and feedback from product and solutions marketing and other internal domain experts
  • Be responsible for facilitating and executing outbound content marketing programs by linking cross-functional teams to drive content strategy alignment, workflow efficiency and content performance
  • Create compelling linkage across multiple mediums - panels, customer stories, event sessions, blogs, speakers, keynotes, social, and media
  • Develop pragmatic and effective ways to measure content performance
  • Explore and implement in partnership with Creative, modern tools and best practices in making our content more engaging, interactive, and digitally compelling
  • Think globally, working with Regions and Localization teams on determining what and when to localize/translate
You should recognize yourself in the following...
  • Minimum 10-15 years experience in content, content marketing, digital content or related fields, in B2B or B2C
  • 5-10 years of management/leadership experience
  • Exceptional storytelling and writing skills
  • A great personality
  • Creative and innovative
  • Experience in corporate marketing, digital marketing agency
  • Broadcast and/or Journalism background
  • High appreciation for collaborative thinking and active partnering
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration with consensus-building and trust-building skills
  • An independent thinker with intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skills
  • Content lifecycle management and/or complex project management skills
  • Can map content to the journey of the buyer or other audience persona journey
  • Understands SEO best practices, keyword research, and optimization
  • Familiarity with a variety of inbound/outbound digital marketing, as well as paid, earned and owned channels
