The Communications Manager will work closely with studio company founders and their teams to build and deliver PR and communications strategies and campaigns for their brands, products and services. The role will involve creating narratives, talking points and media materials, as well as media training spokespeople, and proactively pitching stories to a variety of journalists from a wide range of sectors.

The All Turtles Communications team forms a core and integral part within all studio companies and projects. The Communications Manager is a full time position on the communications team, reporting to the Director of Communications.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Strategic direction and delivery of PR and Communications to All Turtles studio companies' teams and founders.
  • Media campaign management and outreach for All Turtles studio companies, supporting them with announcements, as well as ongoing PR activity via thought leadership, news commentary and profiling opportunities.
  • Supporting founders to create narratives, talking points and Q&A material, as well as conducting media training in collaboration with the Director of Communications.
  • Management of external, US-focused, PR agency.
  • Establishing relationships and interacting with journalists, media outlets, industry peers, and other external stakeholders to drive thought leadership and brand awareness.
  • Working at both a strategic and tactical level, jumping into hands-on work every day.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • 6-8 years experience either in-house or at a PR and Communications agency.
  • Strong experience creating and delivering communications strategies for early to mid stage technology focused companies.
  • A demonstrated track record of securing coverage in consumer-focused media outlets, including broadcast. Solid working relationships with US technology reporters is a must.
  • Problem solving, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A demonstrated ability to operate independently in a fast-paced distributed environment, initiate projects and drive them to completion.

The role can be based in any location, but will require working-hours overlap with time zones GMT-8 to GMT.

The levels are calculated annually, based on collecting national compensation data, and weighted to be competitive in the most expensive markets for each country.
