Overview:

Drift is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented communications professional to drive awareness and champion our leadership principles through strategic communications programs. This role will drive the strategy and execution of key corporate communications initiatives, including internal communications, executive communications, speaking and awards, and spokesperson certification. The corporate communications manager will own the communications calendar, provide counsel to executives and cross-functional teams, and will partner closely with the extended communications team to deliver integrated plans and programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead corporate communications efforts that elevate company goals through thought leadership, corporate storytelling, crisis communications and internal communications.
  • Develop and execute an internal communications strategy that engages employees and reflects our leadership principles.
  • Work with the PR team and agency partners to develop an effective speakers bureau and thought leadership program for our executive team.
  • Partner with key members across marketing, human resources, product, partner and administrative teams to ensure consistent and coherent positioning and engaging messaging for executives across multiple campaigns, events and opportunities.
  • Own the development and management of Drift's Spokesperson Certification program.
  • Partner with the Sr. Director, Corp Comms and the Sr. Employee Brand manager to develop and implement an internal communications strategy and planned campaigns.
  • Advise on best practices and build scalable, repeatable processes for key internal stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain a forward-looking calendar of global activities to deliver engaging, timely and compelling stories.
  • Create and execute communications strategies to support a variety of initiatives, such as new product launches, employee program rollouts, business updates, change management programs and critical response/social impact initiatives, among others.
  • Review, write, edit, produce and manage the distribution of internal and executive communications (e.g., newsletters, organizational updates from executives, corporate announcements, articles for the intranet, presentations, etc.)
  • Support executives in preparing and delivering key communications and presentations at both internal and external events.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of messages across all communications channels.
  • Manage unexpected communication challenges with high judgment and professionalism.
