Sr. Manager, Social Media and Communications

We're looking to grow the team and hire a highly talented Sr. Manager, Social Media and Communications. As a member of the Corporate Communications wing of the marketing team, you'll be the primary social media strategist acting as Productboard's voice of the brand across all social media channels. We are looking for a talented storyteller to grow, engage, and educate various audiences. We don't want you to simply take directives and communicate them - we want you to develop and implement our social media strategy end-to-end in order to increase our online presence, grow engagement, increase company awareness, and improve our marketing and sales efforts.

  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy that grows, educates and engages audiences
  • Oversee day-to-day management of social media campaigns and ensure brand consistency globally
  • Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness through various social media channels
  • Define key metrics to measure progress across all channels and develop actionable insights for the business
  • Work with brand and campaign teams to create and implement social media strategies
  • Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology
  • Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between audiences and the company, and ensure a positive experience
  • Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Ensure progress on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others
  • Oversee the creating and implementation of the monthly editorial calendar

Qualifications for Social Media Manager

  • 3-5 years of social media management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field
  • Professional certification in Google Analytics strongly preferred
  • Proficient using multi-social posting programs such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
  • General knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and internet ranking for web content
  • Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and simultaneously work toward many company initiatives at once
