About the Role
Working closely with the Partner Ecosystem team, this role is the missing piece of the puzzle in our regional marketing matrix. In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing Confluent's regional PE marketing strategy in alignment with Confluent's regional business and global partner strategy. Indeed, this role will create the blueprint for Confluent's International Partner Ecosystem Marketing (Cloud and GSI). You will also own the end-to-end partner campaign in-region, and the day-to-day execution and orchestration of partner marketing activities.

What you'll do

    • Develop and execute Confluent's regional PE marketing strategy in alignment with Confluent's regional business and global partner strategy
    • Create Confluent International Partner Marketing blueprint and build PE internal brand - Confluent and Partner Ecosystem
    • Establish Partner Marketing Operating rhythm
    • Cultivate and own senior relationships with Partners
    • Identify and coordinate the development of new marketing programs, working with internal teams to achieve PE PG goals
    • Develop and execute end-to-end integrated partner marketing campaigns in collaboration with PE team and other Marketing teams (Field Marketing, Events, Marketing Ops, Corporate Comms, Product Marketing)
    • Understand and establish a process for working with different Partners to complete above
    • Orchestrate with HQ partner marketers to bring their content to the field and SDR teams and ensure support for upstream fulfillment for global programs
    • Content localization: ensure flow of locally appropriate joint messaging, solution briefs, slide presentations, business and technical white papers, web and social content, etc. (for both internal and external enablement)
    • Leverage partner ecosystem for brand awareness: joint PR / case studies / blogs / reference materials, including creation of speaker bureau for activities, including Kafka Summits, Partner events, and Confluent Field activities
    • Devise quarterly plans and manage regional budget
    • Review, plan, analyze and report on programs and campaigns

What we're looking for

    • A minimum of 7+ years of related experience in Partner or Business Development, 5 of which should be in Ecosystem Program leadership
    • Track record of building and scaling ecosystem programs that cover technology, consulting, and infrastructure partners
    • Ability to connect business and technology strategy
    • Ability to work as an individual contributor, combined with the ability to hire and develop a cohesive team over time
    • Knowledge of regional operations
    • Excellent communicator at all organization levels
    • Experience in enterprise software
    • Working in Open Source software models and CA-AM and CSAP certification preferred
