Shopmonkey is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Event Marketing Manager. As the Event Marketing Manager, you will define and execute internal, external, virtual, and in-person events to grow Shopmonkeys brand awareness. Your contributions will be instrumental in hitting ambitious goals driving the growth of our company.

You have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and execute strategic event operations from concept to execution, which includes promotion, adoption, "day of" logistics, and post-event reporting to measure event success and strategy for improvements
  • Research event industry and identify opportunities for innovation and creativity
  • Help achieve company goals by successfully establishing and managing overall event operations, timelines, budgets, planning, and organization.
  • Assist with marketing campaigns including communication and promotions
  • Collaborate and partner with Sales and Customer Success and Sales teams, to align event strategy alongside business objectives
  • Management of event assets, collateral, social media announcements to drive interest and participation
  • Proactive approach to handling issues and troubleshooting any emerging problems on event day
  • Multi-task and lead several events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Focused on setting, driving, and measuring KPIs and pipeline metrics
  • Work alongside other marketing leaders as needed

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in strategic events planning, execution, and measurement
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • The desire to consistently enhance and innovate events, bringing new ideas to the table
  • Excellent eye for detail, organized, thorough, and a creative thinker and problem solver
  • Exceptional project management experience and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work across various levels of the organization while building trust and fostering collaboration
  • A desire to be hands-on, not afraid to roll up your sleeves
  • Experience working in both digital and in-person event environments, with in-depth knowledge in coordinating internal and any potential vendors and contractors.
  • Travel: Approximately two physical events a quarter in the U.S.
