Email Production Freelancer

We’re looking for a freelancer with email and CRM production experience.

The right person for this freelance role is a seasoned email production specialist, available on contract approximately 5-10 hours per month (some months could be zero, other months could be much higher), and has availability for last minute projects and edits with a tight turnaround. The Email Production Freelancer would need to respond to inquiries within 24-hours and work in a timezone that overlaps with a timezone in the continental United States (PT, MT, CT, ET).

About M+R’s work:

• We run digital fundraising, membership, and advocacy programs for our clients, which include lots of politically progressive groups like Planned Parenthood, League of Conservation Voters, and PETA, as well as cultural organizations we love, like the American Museum of Natural History. And our clients also include organizations that are working in the most dire situations in the world such as the International Rescue Committee.
• Day-to-day, we’re figuring out how to find, recruit, and retain supporters in order to raise revenue, win campaigns, and build brand recognition and loyalty for our clients.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Manage eCRM technology such as ActionKit, Engaging Networks, EveryAction, Luminate Online, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud to code email communications in HTML and build landing pages such as donation and advocacy pages from templates.
• Running emails and landing pages you have built through quality assurance processes to ensure it conforms to unique clients’ standards.

Skills and experiences required:

• At least 2 years of significant email production experience within multiple eCRMs: coding basic HTML by hand, setting up simple webforms, building queries, and running quality assurance processes.
• Demonstrated experience using one (or more) of the following eCRMs: ActionKit, Action Network, Engaging Networks, EveryAction, Hubspot, Luminate Online, Pardot, and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Successful experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Acute attention to detail and demonstrated ability to prioritize time to meet deadlines for multiple projects.
• Strong ability to relay your ideas clearly verbally and in writing.

Skills and experiences that are preferred, but not required:

• Have worked in an agency setting or at another consulting firm.
• Have worked with nonprofits, electoral campaigns, and/or other issue campaigns.
• Familiarity with peer-to-peer texting programs like ThruText or broadcast SMS programs like Mobile Commons.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this role is $115.
