The Role:

We are looking for a creative and experienced Content Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team. This role will be responsible for crafting Nacelle's content marketing strategy to align with the overall marketing team and company-wide goals, across all content types, to be used for education, thought leadership and demand generation.

This content guru will own Nacelle's content direction and orchestration, consistently driving high-value content for Nacelle's target audiences. We are looking for someone to dive deep into the eCommerce industry and position Nacelle as the thought leader in the space.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Become a subject matter expert on headless commerce, progressive web apps and Nacelle's offerings/benefits to customers
  • Create and own Nacelle's content marketing strategy in alignment with the Marketing team and company-wide goals
  • Orchestrate the content creation process from idea to execution
  • Maintain the content campaign calendar
  • Prepare, edit and proofread well-structured and written drafts of content
  • Work cross functionally with GTM teams to identify customers' needs and how we can support with content
  • Optimize our content creation process by using freelancers, tools, extra resources and other strategies
  • Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content
  • Coordinate with the design team to create supportive visual assets for all content
  • Collaborate with industry experts, partners and customers on joint marketing content and strategies
  • Be proactive and up to date on industry-related topics and trends
  • Experiment with new content types and ways to enhance our existing content

Skills & Qualifications:

  • BS in Marketing, English, Journalism or relevant field
  • 5+ years of content writing experience
  • Proven work experience as a Content Manager, Writer or similar role
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing
  • Excellent research and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • The capacity to work independently and collaboratively
  • Portfolio of published articles
  • Enjoys working closely with all team members to create compelling programs
