About the role

The Legal team sits at the heart of Revolut and it's a very important part of the business This lovely bunch supports all other Revolut teams, helping us achieve our goals each and every day. They're special, they're strong-willed and they work on a lot of different areas (which is not that common for an in-house role, we know, but they're just that good) From structuring credit programmes to launching into new territories, the Legal team does it all! We hire both generalists (typically corporate/commercial solicitors) as well as specialists (such as compliance), alongside operations analysts and they're all responsible to make Revolut grow. • We're looking for a Legal Counsel who'll advice Revolut on compliance and legal issues around our financial products An expert of consumer credits, financial regulations. An individual who's excelling at leadership but dares to undertake a hand on role when needed

What you'll be doing

• Advise the business on compliance and legal issues surrounding the structuring of new products, marketing and promotion of financial products
• Help structure and expand Revolut's products and manage regulatory expectations, requirements and applications to regulators in relation to these products
• Draft customer-facing legal documents for these products
• Be an integral part of product and commercial teams; working with them to help design and deliver solutions that are compliant with PSD2, banking and other financial regulations
• Proactively engage and work alongside local regulators across multiple countries
• Excel at leadership while also undertaking executional work. This is a hands-on role and you'll be expected to handle significant and complex legal matters with short turnaround times

What you'll need

• Master's degree or equivalent in Law
• At least 3 years of strong experience as a private practice lawyer at a top law firm (and preferably) some in-house experience as well
• Experience in advising on financial regulations, including PSD2 and banking regulations
• Expertise in financial regulations: PSD2, CRD IV, and other relevant Lithuanian and EU legal acts
• Sound judgement, composure under pressure and a collaborative mindset
• Confidence in making decision where there is ambiguity or incomplete information
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
• Excellent English and Lithuanian language skills (written and oral)

Salary

• Up to ? 3700 net per month
