Pharmacy benefit management company in South Scottsdale seeking motivated professionals for health insurance prior authorization and coordination.

Work from home position! Starting in Nov and Dec

Insurance Specialist Duties include:

  • Verifying eligibility for medication based on the patients insurance plan
  • Making outbound calls to obtain information from the payor
  • Generating benefit summaries
  • Obtaining prior authorization for services
  • Work from home on your assigned shift, 40 hrs/ week.

Qualifications

  • Greater Phoenix area candidates only
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • High speed internet at home (equipment is provided). Must be able to plug into your internet modem or router. (wifi not compatible)
  • Type 30 wpm, Strong computer skills , ability to learn and navigate a paperless system
  • Experience verifying health insurance and prior authorization
  • Clear and polite phone voice
  • Working knowledge of insurance plans and benefit structures

Full-time, M-F, business hours 6AM - 6PM (you will be assigned an 8 hr shift in this range, but cannot choose your shift) Weekly pay is $17.00/hour
