About The Role

Our Talent team is a critical strategic partner to our Engineering and Product organizations with ambitious goals. We're looking for a Senior Manager to lead a technical recruiting team and to help develop strategies that will scale alongside the new challenges we're facing.

You will partner with our Technical leadership and hiring managers to understand and anticipate their needs and priorities in order to help advance our business objectives and grow our workforce. You will work to identify and engage passive candidates and manage the full-cycle recruiting process for a few specialty technical hires. In addition, you'll lead and shape a small team of high-performing recruiters in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of your team
  • Recruit and close key senior-level technical talent for Coalition (this can involve both domestic and international roles)
  • Set team performance goals and metrics, timelines and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress
  • Partner with business leaders up to the executive level to set and drive goals, and process
  • Use data to measure the success and impact of your team's recruitment efforts and influence stakeholders on a daily basis through the use of data
  • Manage and execute on full recruitment life cycle, from reviewing resumes to closing complex offers at all levels
  • Champion continuous improvement of our recruiting processes and operations through leadership, guidance and advisement
  • Build relationships and partner with leaders in our Technology organization (Engineering, Product Management, and Design) up to the executive level
  • Build a deep understanding of our business and culture in order to provide strategic thought partnership to our technical teams
  • Leverage data analytics to drive operational improvements and amplify operational excellence to support team's growth
  • Define overall recruiting performance goals across the technical recruiting team
  • Hire additional technical recruiting talent as we continue to scale over the next year
  • Participate in DE&I recruiting efforts, ensuring that we continue to build inclusive and diverse teams

Skills and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles at various levels (up to Sr. Director/VP) within a technology company
  • 2+ years in a management role
  • Track record of closing passive and active technical talent in a competitive market
  • Ability to use data (both quantitative and qualitative) to influence hiring managers and leaders
  • Ability to lead by example and inspire team members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to an executive audience
  • Startup experience preferred
