What's the opportunity?

The People Operations Associate is a key member of the People Operations team in helping support a great employee lifecycle experience for our EMEA-based employees (Dublin and London) with a strong focus on our London and Sydney offices! Reporting to Associate Manager, People Operations, the People Ops Associate will play an integral role in supporting the growing team.

What will I be doing?

  • You'll get to manage our new hire onboarding and pre-onboarding process, including Right to Work checks
  • You'll be the first point of contact for employees' day-to-day questions related to AU And UK benefits, People programs, policies, etc.
  • You'll maintain and update all employee personnel records in Workday as well as materials including benefit forms
  • You'll provide administrative support for the monthly AU and UK payroll process
  • You'll assist with the administration of company AU and UK benefits programs as needed, including supporting our Cycle to Work scheme
  • You'll create employee letters as requested and provide help in filling out any benefit or application forms (maternity/paternity forms, mortgage applications, etc)
  • You'll manage the off-boarding process and exit interviews for terminating employees
  • Maintain employee data and information, audit data, prepare reports, and continuously look for ways to improve business processes and automation
  • Communicate recommendations on initiatives and influence stakeholders through data and thoughtful interpretation of findings
  • Drive People Ops process changes to support the evolving needs of a rapidly growing business
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on UK related policies and compliance laws and regulations
  • Other projects, as needed in the People Operations space

What skills do I need?

  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a Human Resources/People Operations function, preferably in a tech start-up environment
  • You have a successful track record of supporting HR processes, employee resourcing, personnel management, and change management
  • The ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities and adapt to a fluid, high-growth environment
  • Team player with a sense of ownership and "get things done" attitude - self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced and self-directed environment
  • Comfortable with technical systems and software, experience with Workday is a plus
  • Able to combine great people intuition, business judgment, and discretion in your decision-making
  • Knowledge of HR compliance regulations, employment laws, and industry best practices (highly desired) for the UK and IE. Exposure to UK immigration/relocation is a plus
  • A Bachelor degree or equivalent from an accredited university is highly desired
