SUMMARY

We're looking for a Public Sector Operations & Strategy Manager to join us in spreading the power of Wiz. This is a people-leader position that is instrumental in the overall performance of the Public Sector Operations (PSO) team. The focus of this role is on ensuring the team is unblocked, moving forward and the team members have the tools they need to be successful as well as being a point person for shared federal / corporate responsibilities such as recruiting, employee training and awareness, communications, etc.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own administrative activities of the PSO team
    • Ensure the PSO team is operating efficiently and effectively.
    • Work closely with direct reports on their professional growth goals.
    • Ensure direct reports are executing as expected and documenting via required review cycles.
    • Execute administrative functions such as contract approval, staffing & budget, communications, etc.
    • Work closely with PSO lead to build the future state to ensure the resourcing and organizational design is scalable and adaptable.
    • Manage cross-functional PSO dependencies, risks, and changes effectively.
    • Define and track department metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Develop and own Communication Program
    • Develop PSO key performance indicators
    • Communicate PSO status to external parties
    • Communicate coordinated program status
  • Develop and own a Federal Training and Awareness program.
    • Develop training decks.
    • Develop content for the Wiz Learning Management System.
    • Ensure training and awareness evidence can be provided for audits.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 5+ years in a people leader role.
  • Bachelor's degree or commiserate experience.
  • Proven people-leadership skills.
  • Some experience in the Federal space is nice to have but not required.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to build reports that have meaning and value.
  • Demonstrated ability to bring together virtual teams.
  • Ability to interact at all internal levels within the organization (i.e., from C-level to front-line technical staff).
  • Organizational and analytical skills and can identify efficiencies and eliminate internal and external obstacles through creative/ adaptive approaches.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and use influence to drive projects.
  • Ability to establish/maintain high level of trust and confidence.
  • Excellent listening skills and able to bring together multiple perspectives.

  • You can provide evidence that you meet EAR part 772 and ITAR 120.15 definition of a U.S. person (Any individual who is granted U.S. citizenship; or, any individual who is granted U.S. permanent residence (green card holder); or, any individual who is granted status as a "protected person") and that you reside in the contiguous United States.
