THE CHALLENGE

We're looking for a Manager to lead the Global Talent Coordinator team (aka Recruiting Coordinators). This leader will connect Eventbrite's vision, mission and story in support of the company's growth. You will play a vital role in ensuring our Talent Acquisition Team and business hiring teams deliver a best in class candidate experience, while being the face of our organization to future Britelings.

THE ROLE
As the Manager of Global Recruiting Coordination, you are responsible for the anchors of our Talent Acquisition team which currently consists of 5 FTEs and additional temporary resources. Your direct reports will be located in the US, Spain, Argentina, and India. You will report into the Director of Talent Acquisition Strategy, Innovation, and Operations, who is based in the US. You will oversee all of our interview coordination efforts for open global roles, including scheduling and coordinating phone screens, technical assessments, and interview loops. You will ensure successful preparation and delivery of approved offer letters and initiate reference and background checks. You will partner across the Talent Acquisition Operations Team, alongside talent managers and hiring leaders to ensure the applicant tracking system is up to date, while using data to influence and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our recruiting process. The ideal candidate enjoys mentoring, coaching and empowering their teams to grow within the organization. Together we'll develop the team's skills and teach recruiting coordination best practices. We're looking for someone who is committed to consistently raising the bar for our Talent Acquisition team. You will be a trusted resource to candidates, talent managers, and hiring teams, maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times both internally and externally. THE SKILL SET

    • Experienced: Previous experience in leading administrative, recruiting, HR, or operations teams with skills in project management, operations, scheduling, and data analytics. You are managing backend system settings for various ATSes, databases and customer service platforms (e.g. Lever, JIRA, Workday, Tableau). At least 4 years of previous coordination experience in a high volume environment, preferably a search firm or in-house recruiting environment. Experience overseeing global teams and executing process improvements, system enhancements, and best-in-class support to internal stakeholders.
    • Results Oriented: You provide the highest level of customer service to internal and external clients. You are highly organized, with experience prioritizing multiple projects and tasks while managing your time efficiently. You take initiative, work independently and have exceptional attention to detail. You are able to juggle complex schedules and tough requests without ever dropping the ball.
    • Strategic: You are highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines, projects, and stakeholders. You have excellent project leadership skills and can keep track of deadlines, deliverables associated with multiple workstreams.
    • Creative: We're looking for individuals eager to try new things and take chances to adapt how Eventbrite's Talent Acquisition function operates. You successfully demonstrate capability for creative problem solving and solutioning. You are able to seek out answers and drive solutions autonomously.
    • Interpersonal communications skills: You have the ability to authentically listen and communicate (written and verbally) in a way that allows you to connect with internal and external audiences.
    • Collaborative: You can build collaborative relationships with the Talent Acquisition team and cross-functional partners (People Operations, Business Leaders, IT Team, Legal, among others). You possess a strong presence and level of comfort engaging with team members and business leaders of all levels. You are able to create and sustain productive relationships with candidates to ensure they have a great candidate experience.
    • Flexible: You have the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and feel comfortable with ambiguity. You are able to work with evolving systems and structures, demonstrating the flexibility to adapt to changing environments and regulations while managing multiple projects and competing priorities. You can produce ad-hoc reports as required and support various hiring projects as assigned such as batch hiring days/hiring blitzes, recruitment marketing, and strategic sourcing.
