Director, Recruiting

As the Director, Recruiting (Financial Services & Operations), you'll join our growing recruiting organization and lead a team that drives all Customer Experience (both licensed and non-licensed) and Operations recruiting. This is a global role reporting into Robinhood's Head of Recruiting (head of function). You'll partner closely with our Financial Services business leaders to develop and implement attraction and hiring strategies for the next generations of Financial Services talent at Robinhood. Additionally, you will build, lead, and actively develop a high caliber, dynamic team of Recruiting Managers, Leads, and individual contributors.

Your day to day will involve:

• Designing, building and executing recruiting strategies to attract, evaluate and hire top Financial Services talent. Robinhood is going through a hypergrowth period and is looking to scale global Financial Services functions significantly into 2022 and beyond.
• Iterating on our headcount planning and management processes for Financial Services, working with senior business leaders across the function to anticipate their organizational needs and establish effective talent acquisition strategies.
• Implement a metrics-based approach to ensure the company's aggressive hiring plan is achieved efficiently, using benchmarks for planning purposes and taking a data driven approach to identify and solve for pain points throughout the hiring funnel.
• Promote inclusion, equity, and belonging in the workplace and drive programs (e.g. sourcing and selection) that ensure recruiting strategies attract candidates with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
• Maintain talent pipelines with potential candidates and past applicants for future staffing needs.
• Grow and develop a best-in-class Financial Services Recruiting team (inclusive of Recruiting Managers, Recruiting Leads, and Recruiters).

About you

• Demonstrated success leading and scaling multiple teams inclusive of those led by other managers, directing the execution of operational plans and strategies
• Experience building and scaling program hiring strategies for client facing/ customer service talent in financially regulated environments (intimate familiarity with financial services licensing requirements and licensed talent pools)
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment, making both strategic and tactical decisions to navigate sensitive or confidential issues with a focus on long term operational plans
• Experience building and scaling systems, programs and teams globally
• Strong management and leadership experience and a deep desire to build a bench of strong Talent Acquisition professionals
• The ability to balance multiple parallel initiatives and projects where objectives may be ambiguous
• Strong organization, interpersonal, and communication skills. Confident presenting to large groups, fellow leaders, and teammates of all levels.
• Strong influencing skills with senior executives
