Senior Tax Manager Go To Market

We are solving one of the largest yet unsolved problems in global e-commerce. Our tax automation software enables companies such as Uber, Zoom, Lime, Booking.com, GoStudent, and Teachable to expand their international offerings more quickly and stay tax compliant.

To render our growth, we're looking for a Senior Tax Manager to help us with our go-to-market efforts.

In this role, your mission is to bridge the gap between tax and our commercial and marketing teams, to help us better deliver our value proposition and content to the tax community. This role will work closely with our Revenue, Marketing and product teams to bring our products and content to a broader audience.

You will be specifically working on tax content creation and marketing initiatives (both online and physical events), as well as help drive partnerships. This is a greatly varied role, with lots of room for your personal stamp, initiative, creativity and growth. This role will be reporting to Chief Tax Officer.

What you will be doing:

• Work with the tax and product teams to create regular tax content for publication
• Engage and work with external tax professionals to create compelling content
• Help shape and create the tone of voice for Fonoa's go to market strategy
• Work with the marketing team on organising go to market initiatives, both online and offline
• Work on establishing rapport within the tax community and helping tax professionals understand our product offerings
• Work with our teams to establish partnerships

You would be a great fit if you:

• Have at least 8 years of experience in indirect tax
• Have the ability to research and communicate technical tax issues clearly to non-tax team members and work effectively across all functional teams
• Are native or close to native proficiency in English
• Have a proven track record of creating compelling content
• Have the relevant tax education and broad knowledge of current international Indirect tax (VAT/GST) laws and regulations
• Posses a natural curiosity, hunger to work hands-on and make a tangible impact
• Like to solve problems, turning complex problems into simple solutions
• Are self-directed and capable of working autonomously
• Are passionate about technology and innovation
