• Contract 3-6 Months Part Time 30 hours per week
• US Remote (Ideal if based in Austin TX area to attend in-person Weekly Team Meetings)

About the team

The strategic role of Learning and Development (L&D) is to manage the development of people. Our purpose is to provide all employees with the skills and knowledge needed to grow in their current roles and careers while aligning and enabling Beamery to achieve business goals. There are 5 key goals that Beamery L&D has established: Attract and Retain Talent, Create a Values Based Culture, Motivate and Engage Employees, Develop People Capabilities, and Build our Employer Brand.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Learning and Development, the Instructional Designer will focus on co-design and development, and enhancements of eLearning that support and encourage individual development and team performance at all levels. You will help facilitate the building of L&D programs ensuring that Beamery continues to evolve in alignment with our purpose and stated goals. This role supports organizational growth through the development of best-in-class learning, development, adoption and mentorship programs, helping our values-based culture to innovate, transform, and achieve sustainable high growth and high performance in alignment with our company values to make Beamery an amazing place to work.

What you will be doing at beamery

Support the Head of Learning and Development to develop/design best in class eLearning Training Programs for our diverse workforce.

Who are we looking for?

• Be well versed in learning design and development (L&D) content methodologies, visual design principles, multimedia learning principles and user experience design best practices
• Instructional design and rapid eLearning skills
• Proven ability to lead and juggle multiple projects
• Thrives in fast-paced hyper growth start-up work environment
• Inquisitive and cross-functional team collaborator
• Proficient with Skilljar preferred or similar Customer Education or Learning Software (e.g. GoTo Webinar, Wistia, Loom or Linkedin Learning)
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript web development skills
• Based in Austin TX ideal for in-person weekly meetings ideal (not required)
