The role, in a nutshell:

Chainguard is seeking an experienced operator to take the reins as our GTM Systems Architect. We're on the hunt for a builder with a history of designing, implementing, and spearheading best in class GTM systems. You will play a pivotal role in owning our tools strategy that fuels our exponential growth.

As the driving force behind our GTM Systems, you'll be instrumental in ensuring we uphold top-notch development practices, robust governance, and tight permission controls. Flexibility is key as you navigate the ever-evolving needs of our company..

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and oversight of our GTM systems and their underlying architecture.
  • Develop and own a comprehensive systems roadmap, collaborating closely with cross-functional team (CFT) stakeholders to establish priorities.
  • Administration of core GTM tech stack, including Salesforce, Outreach, LeanData, Gong, Linkedin Sales Navigator, CPQ (TBD) and more to be added.
  • Drive the gathering and analysis of requirements, translating them into solutions that prioritize user experience and scalability.
  • Create and maintain thorough documentation of system processes, policies, and tutorials to enable our GTM teams.
  • Manage and execute complex systems projects, prioritizing those with the greatest impact.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, managing licensing capacity, and coordinating vendor-led training sessions.
  • Automate and implement systems and processes to track and measure the entire quote-to-cash lifecycle.
  • Champion adherence to systems business rules and best practices across the team.

About You:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in GTM systems and business process operations within hyper-scaling B2B SaaS environments.
  • 5+ years of Salesforce Administrator [Advanced Certification preferred]
  • Expert level proficiency in Salesforce (Sales Cloud), LeanData, and Outreach.
  • You possess a deep understanding of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success metrics and processes within a B2B SaaS organization.
  • Demonstrated expertise in integrating systems to meet reporting needs, and in establishing accurate data models for Salesforce and/or other BI tools.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to concisely explain complex cross-functional processes.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and quickly shift from one project to another as priorities change.
  • Willingness to travel for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) on a quarterly basis.
