This expansion includes the creation of a new role to be part of the clinical service team that will support our Noom Med patients.

The Noom Med Registered Nurse role is an opportunity to be part of the Noom patient- facing clinical support team, tasked primarily with delivering a high quality care experience for Noom Med participants. This role will work with patients to help verify medical intake, onboard to the Noom Med program and prepare for clinical appointments. In addition, this role will provide ongoing support to patients throughout their journey in the Noom Med program and escalate any clinical concerns as appropriate.

What You'll Be Doing

• Verify patient intakes and perform virtual evaluations to obtain patient medical and weight-related histories
• Serve as a patient advocate and a channel for communications regarding any acute patient concerns, symptoms, or side effects
• Support patients with information needed to prepare for their clinical appointments
• Escalate patient concerns to the attending physician team in a timely fashion
• Provide a high level of counseling and personalized support to patients
• Participate in all program required trainings and ongoing educational activities designed to enhance clinical knowledge and enhance patient care

What We're Looking For

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Diploma in nursing or related field
• 25+ active state licenses and Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)Outstanding communication skills Ability to interface with patients and all levels of the clinical care team with professionalism
• Second-to-none "webside manner" with strong ability to project friendliness, warmth, and empathy over audio and video chat
• Strong interest in obesity care, patient counseling, and supporting patients with comprehensive lifestyle changes
• Tech savvy with the ability to move easily between multiple systems and data repositories
• Flexible and comfortable with changing workflows as we test and evolve the role.
• Experience in a tech startup or telehealth are both plusses
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment that fosters innovation and continuous improvement
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Must be authorized to work in the US - unable to provide visa sponsorship

Salary

• The hourly compensation for this role is $30-50/hour
