The Role
The Prosper marketing team is looking for an experienced visual designer with a background in performance-based email campaigns and digital design. This person will work closely with Prosper's marketing managers to develop compelling, effective creatives across Prosper's suite of products. They will work closely with our UX team to ensure that our marketing efforts are on-brand, use our voice and tone, and lead seamlessly into our web and native app experiences.
The marketing visual designer will be passionate about both design and data, with a focus on optimizing for performance while always taking into account a superb experience for our users. They will also consider the customer journey holistically, ensuring that we're providing the right information at the right time?to proactively anticipate user needs.

Problems You Will Solve
- Design campaign-specific email communications, landing pages and app experiences
- Align to brand and design systems to create a cohesive experience across platforms
- Work closely with marketing managers, designers, creative directors, and email developers to align on campaign needs
- Analyze data and apply learnings to continually iterate and increase engagement
- Contribute?to?our internal design system, including?marketing?templates, patterns and?accessibility?
All About You
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a visual designer role
- You have a portfolio with relevant design work and a clear narrative of your contributions within a?team. Examples of creative work you've led from conception to delivery that include email marketing campaigns
- Experience and understanding of email best practices and designing for responsive emails
- Basic understanding of growth channels, targeting, and iterative creative testing
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and work both independently and within a team
- Attention to detail and organization
- In-depth knowledge of the tools of the trade, including?Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Suite
- Strong?sense of?color?theory,?layout,?hierarchy?and?typography
- Experience in a startup or other fast-paced environment is a plus
- Experience in fintech or banking is a plus.?
- Experience with animation or infographics is a plus.
