As the Vice President of Growth at Apollo.io, you will hold a critical position within our company, pivotal for advancing our growth initiatives and achieving key metrics such as activation, adoption, retention, and monetization of our platform. This role is among the most significant hires we'll make, essential for driving our continued expansion. You will lead a high-performing growth team, crafting and executing growth strategies while fostering a culture of experimentation and rapid learning. Reporting directly to our SVP of Marketing, you'll be instrumental in shaping our company's trajectory and success.

Responsibilities

  • Build a world-class Growth team to lead us through an IPO.
  • Hire and lead a team of product managers, engineers, designers, marketers, and researchers and a culture of ownership, rapid learning, and insights to systematically improve key activation, retention, and expansion workflows.
  • Become the SME at Apollo for our customer journey, creating a company-wide understanding of the paths our customers take to establish expertise in our customer journey, creating company-wide understanding, measurement, and alignment across core stakeholders.
  • Own and accelerate activation, monetization, and retention efforts, improving adoption metrics and self-service ARR monetization targets.
  • Establish an experimentation infrastructure, backlog & culture, achieving 90% internal satisfaction across stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to execute a Growth strategy focused on activation, adoption, and upsell motions.
  • Create robust testing and reporting infrastructure on key product flywheels & efficacy of growth programs, enabling Marketing and Product teams for success in their parts of the flywheel.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing cross-functional growth team of designers, engineers, and product managers.
  • Establish processes between Growth, Marketing, Product, Design, Research, and Analytics to address impactful problems effectively.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of Growth experience, with 5+ years experience in a high-growth B2B company with a product-led growth motion (PLG) is required.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in driving growth and managing teams is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategizing and executing growth initiatives tailored for companies undergoing or preparing for an IPO preferred.
  • Proven track record of extraordinary growth leadership and initiatives driving exponential business results.
  • Strong project management skills across various mediums and formats.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a background in motivating, developing, and retaining high-performing growth teams and cultures.
