SQL Database Developer

Role:

SQL Server Database Developer for a high profile, next generation data migration project

You will report to our Data Architect and the Data Migration Team.

You also interact with our CTO and Engineering Director.

The job is remote but requires that you be based in the U.S.

Full-time from August 2021 - Jan 2022 (6 months) with an opportunity to extend up to another 6 months

Job Description:

Participate in data migration from one SQL Server environment to another

Develop SQL Scripts

Write stored procedures

Write and optimize SQL statements

Prepare documentation and specifications

Verify data - compare source/target

Requirements:

=============

5+ years as active SQL Server developer

Strong proficiency in SQL/t-SQL

Ability to write SQL scripts (SQLCMD)

Familiarity with SQL environment variables

Ability to maintain code written by other developers

Experience in working directly with technical and business personnel

Strong communication skills

Attention to detail is very important

Ability to work independently and as a part of the team

Bonus Skills:

Knowledge of PowerShell

Knowledge/Understanding of JSON

Knowledge of Github or similar version control tools

Knowledge of Oracle

Knowledge of SQL Server Profiler
