Senior Value Insights Analyst

Gong's Value & Analytics team is responsible for helping Gong's leaders and customers drive more value out of the Gong technology, using data.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with business leaders (internal or customers) to study value drivers and initiatives, and leverage data to provide value insights.
• Extracting KPIs and value stories from Gong data.
• Designing and building data visualizations in tableau including: benchmarking, predictive models, adoption metrics.
• Supporting the Gong's Center of Excellence, Sales and Customer Success as well as customers in building data driven value stories.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in B2B software operations / B2B software Value Engineering / professional services / management consulting roles.
• Proven experience in extracting insights from data in the B2B sales space.
• Deep understanding of B2B sales processes and pipeline management concepts.
• Expertise in software B2B business models, with specific functional expertise in Sales systems.
• Clear understanding into Gong's technology and value proposition.
• A degree in data science, business, operations, management, or a related field is desirable.

Technical skills:

• Experience with data science, statistical analysis, data mining and predictive algorithms
• Experience with query languages (e.g. SQL)
• Experience with BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Sisense) and multipurpose programming languages (e.g. Python).
• Experience with CRM systems and tools (e.g. Salesforce)

General business skills:

• Experience interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to complete projects and achieve results in an ambiguous work environment.
• Proven skills to work effectively across internal functional areas in ambiguous situations.
• Proven ability to establish and articulate a vision, set goals, develop and execute strategies, and track and measure results.
