SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Lab Architect to join our team. This role is at the intersection of training, cloud administration, and DevOps, focusing on the creation and maintenance of lab environments for technical training and management of our demo environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of major Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI, and will be instrumental in developing, deploying, and managing lab and demo environments that showcase our product, Wiz, to its fullest potential.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design and implement lab environments for technical training, ensuring they meet the learning objectives and technical requirements set by Tech Curriculum Developers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
• Develop and maintain templates, startup scripts, and any other necessary infrastructure to streamline the setup of new labs and ensure their efficient operation
• Act as a liaison between the technical training team and SMEs, providing guidance and expertise on the optimal design of lab environments across various CSPs
• Manage and oversee our demo environment, which includes AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI, ensuring high availability and performance of workloads that demonstrate Wiz's capabilities
• Occasionally develop comprehensive lab guides and documentation to support the training objectives and enhance the learning experience
• Keep abreast of the latest developments and features in CSPs to ensure our labs and demos utilize the most current and relevant technology
• Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to ensure the demo environment effectively supports product demonstrations, highlighting Wiz's features and benefits

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• 8 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong understanding of at least one major Cloud Service Provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) and familiarity with others, including OCI
• 4 years of experience in developing and managing lab environments or similar training tools in a technical or educational setting
• 4 years of experience and strong background in DevOps practices and tools, with the ability to automate lab and demo environment setups using scripts and infrastructure as code
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Tech Curriculum Developers, SMEs, and sales teams
• Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for continuous learning and development
• Experience in developing technical documentation and guides is a plus
