Your impact

Do you have a passion for e-commerce and data? Do you prefer to work in a young and ambitious team? Do you want to help build an international platform by creating actionable insights? Then this is the challenge for you!

We are looking for a full-time Pricing Analyst, who wants to use data to define the optimal price for 100k+ products across multiple geographies, balancing competing business priorities. The product range covers both global fashion brands as well as boutique labels. You must be comfortable working with large data sets, focusing on actionable insights that will be immediately applied. The expectation is that you will be working on multiple data-driven projects on a daily basis plus there is room for taking the initiative and testing your own ideas to help Otrium grow.

Your responsibilities

At Otrium, no two days are the same. The following tasks will be part of your new role:

  • Responsible for setting the prices for products sold on Otrium
  • Develop and maintain standard Pricing reports as well as ad-hoc analysis to support pricing decisions
  • Work with the Pricing team's Data Scientists/Engineers to get the most out of our existing data and identify new opportunities to use this data across the business
  • Track competitor pricing and translate insights into clear recommendations for our brand partners
  • Analysis and execution of various projects linked to the improvement of pricing strategies at Otrium for both global fashion brands as well as boutique labels
  • Collecting data from different sources, creating dashboards and converting this into actionable insights
  • Think of new ideas on how we can further accelerate the growth of our brand partners
  • You will also interact a lot with the other teams involved in the implementation of optimisation projects

You are...

  • You have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Data & Analytics role
  • Experienced with SQL, statistical programming (e.g. R, Python) or data engineering
  • Previous experience in Pricing or start-ups in e-commerce business is a plus, but not required
  • You have a business administration, economics, or another mathematics related degree (or equivalent experience)
  • An effective communicator, able to explain the ideas and data behind pricing to less data-savvy audiences, exchanging information with internal teams as well as with external partners
  • Strong detail-oriented, with a hands-on mentality
