Apollo is looking for a hands-on L&D Director with deep expertise in designing and executing end-to-end scalable programs for the development of managers and employees at all levels.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, your responsibilities will include strategic planning and tactical execution; analyzing organizational needs, creating alignment with business strategy, day-to-day operations, budget and vendor management, and stakeholder management. You'll partner closely with our Executive Leadership team to develop and drive strategies to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees globally. Key responsibilities:

  • Drive the strategy and roadmap to connect learning and development with business priorities across leaders and employees.
  • Provide expertise on best approaches and modes of learning ranging from self-service to off-the-shelf to customized options (including building programs within our company LMS).
  • Collaborate across the People Team to create seamless end-to-end learning experiences for cohesion with HRBPs inputs, Employee Relations and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including the CEO.
  • Identify, select, onboard, and manage vendor partners to execute on learning priorities.
  • Identify a roadmap of systems/tools needed to support L&D efforts for today and the future.
  • Establish and measure L&D program effectiveness based on impact, knowledge and behavior change.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs, making improvements along the way.
  • Stay close to industry trends and best practices in L&D.

About You:

  • 6-8+ years of hands-on experience building scalable learning & development in a high-growth company.
  • Expertise building programs focused on manager, leadership development and scaling programs.
  • Experience working on L&D for R&D teams is preferred but not required.
  • Fluent in data extraction, analysis and storytelling, with experience in demonstrating ROI on L&D programs
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and design techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating at all levels of an organization globally.
  • Experience consulting with business leaders and stakeholders, with a proven track record of establishing relationships and being seen as a strategic partner
