Job Description:
We are supporting a Director in the Quality Assurance space, who is looking for a talented, Data Scientist in QA.
Our client supports a machine learning/AI environment. They are tasked with providing cutting edge assurance to a practice/industry that is still technically "young. Our client is looking for a rock star Data Scientist, with a background in Math and/or Statistics, who has the ability to both study and understand relationships in data and build Machine Learning Models.
The right candidate should have degrees in Math, Physics or Stats, up to a PhD (ideally). Master's degrees in this area with relevant work experience work great as well! Candidates need to have experience building machine learning models and ideally have even lead those efforts. This is a role that is growing in popularity in the tech industry, since providing QA to machine learning models and data science practitioners is relatively new!
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in Math, Physics and/or Statistics (or something comparable)
2-6 years of experience in one or more of the following: data science, machine learning, big data/AI
Strong programming with Java/J2EE and/or Python
Strong QA mindset
PySpark experience
Preferred Qaulifications:
AWS Cloud technologies
Previous QA experience
Model validator experience
